Sarracenia leucophylla x ( x ‘Adrian Slack’ ) Potted

$ 12.99
Size: Small

This is a lovely hybrid! It shows white veined pitchers with a deeply pink lip. This is a great plant for beginners and has a wide range of coloration on the pitchers!

Please note that Sarracenia are temperate plants that go dormant in winter, dying back to the rhizome in the soil and growing again in spring. Some of the pitchers on different species/hybrids can start to die back in Fall. They are at the height of growth in Summer and may be smaller than the photos in the listing if purchased at a different time of year. Plant sizing is variable depending on time of year, parentage, and individual genetics between seeds.

Care Instructions
Sun: Full sun outdoors
Water: Always sitting in at least two inches of distilled or purified water
Temperature: 20 degrees - 80 degrees, can even take temperatures from freezing to 100 degrees but only for short periods
Dormancy: All Sarracenia require a winter dormancy starting in October and ending in February. Many of the pitchers will turn brown and die back during this time. Leave them outdoors in full sun, sitting in distilled water during this period. If you live in an area that snows; over winter them indoors on a sunny windowsill in an unheated room or garage. Still sitting in full sun and distilled water.

Soil: Plant comes potted in a custom mix of four parts peat moss to one part perlite.

I didn't realize it would be shipped to me while still dormant. However, it's been really fun to watch the pitcher grow. The item was securely packaged and in a humidity dome. Can't wait to add it to my bog.

Always happy with our purchases

The plants are always well packaged and we have been very pleased with the condition of the plants upon arrival. Our Sarracenia and sundews have been planted in a bathtub in our Sacramento area garden for the past five years. All plants are thriving. Lots of flower buds are up and getting ready to bloom!
