Utricularia livida 'Merrie Heart' Potted

This Mexican form of Utricularia livida looks much different than it's South African cousin. The lower petal is wider and the purple color is slightly lighter. It flowers continuously in the Spring and Summer when the weather is warm. A few years ago Peter registered this plant as 'Merrie Heart". Mary Hart was the wife of F.E. Lloyd who is the author of the second book on carnivorous plants.
Care Instructions
Sun: Prefers to hide in the shade of other plants, they will also thrive indoors, under grow lights
Water: Always sitting in a few inches of distilled or purified water
Temperature: 40 - 90 degrees
