Now only 9.75! Drosera peltata is the most common and among the easiest of the tuberous sundews. The ones we are selling now have multiple plants in the pot. The plants are golden green and emerge in the fall with the winter rains as a basal rosette. After a few weeks, they begin to form erect stems lined with shield-shaped leaves. The one in the photo has just started growing, but will quickly grow 6-8 inches tall with a little bouquet of white flowers on top. The small flowers self-pollinate and drop seed. Plants must be allowed to dry out slowly after it dies back in the summer. Keep almost completely dry until growth resumes in Fall. A great little sundew for the greenhouse to give you something to look at in the winter, while your other plants are dormant. Only available potted, due to their delicate nature.
