Nepenthes klossi (TC) Potted
Nepenthes klossi is a fantastic species that is extremely rare in cultivation, very few have ever been sold in the United States. It is endemic to New Guinea and the last expedition to see this species was attacked by locals, only barely escaping with their lives. The pitchers are humpbacked with the opening on the side and the overall appearance is that of a giant aristolochioides. It is unclear if any more will ever be available in the U.S.
There is some slight chance that some of these may be natural hybrids although a natural hybrid with klossi would still be an amazing addition to anyone's collection. We only have five plants available.
