Drosera hamiltonii Potted

$ 14.99

This sundew grows alongside Cephalotus in South-West Australia.  Rosettes lie very flat to the ground and grow up to 3 inches across.  They also produce large pink flowers in early summer that almost look like pink butterflies.  They do best in cool greenhouses or terrariums, but can also grow on sunny windowsills.

Sun: Grow on sunny windowsills with at least three hours of direct sun, in greenhouses, or in a terrarium with fluorescent light
Water: Always sitting in a few inches of distilled or purified water
Temperature: Daytime temperatures in the 70’s-80’s with a 10-20 degree drop in night temps in the summer. In the winter daytime temps of 60's and nighttime of 40's. A winter time chill helps them to flower
Dormancy: none needed
