Drosera capillaris “Alabama” Potted
Drosera capillaris is a great looking little sundew! A beautiful addition to anyone's bog garden. This rosetted sundew is widespread but these particular ones came from Alabama a long time ago. They are temperate but don’t necessarily need to go dormant and should be protected from heavy freezes. It reseeds readily in bog gardens.
Sun: Full sun indoors, or outdoors
Water: Always sitting in at least two inches of distilled or purified water
Temperature: 25 degrees - 80 degrees
Dormancy: Requires a winter dormancy starting in October and ending in February. Many of the leaves will turn black and die back during this time.
