Drosera x eloisiana 'Nightmare' Potted

Drosera x eloisiana 'Nightmare' Potted

$ 14.99

Drosera x eloisiana 'Nightmare' is a named clone of the popular, naturally occurring, hybrid between Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera intermedia.  A vigorous plant with large, upright, spoon-shaped leaves.  The original plant was found near Toms River, New Jersey.

This plant was formerly called Drosera beleziana but it was renamed by Tim Bailey.  He named it after his daughters; Eloise and Georgiana.  The new name is a hybrid of their names as well as retaining some similarity with the original.  We've included a photo of Drosera x eloisiana in the wild, taken by Tim and a photo of his lovely daughters who are the namesake of this plant!

PLEASE NOTE: these plants go dormant in winter and will die back to the crown and will resume growth in spring
