This species is one of the greatest discoveries in recent years, it is certainly one of the biggest! It has pitchers well over a foot tall with a wide, open mouth. It was only very recently discovered by Stewart McPherson et al in the Philippines. These plants are seed grown and extremely limited. Every Nepenthes collector is going to have to have at least one of these. It was named for world famous naturalist David Attenborough.
