Nepenthes deaniana (S-TC) Wistuba Deluxe Potted
Nepenthes deaniana is still rarely cultivated but it's probably even rarer in the wild. It only grows at the top of Thumb Peak on the island of Palawan. The mountain is a Philippine prison camp and so it took some time to rediscover and get into cultivation. It is probably closely related to Nepenthes mira and they both have similar coloration and form. Mature pitchers of deaniana however can be at least twice as big as those of mira.
