The female parent is Nepenthes singalana selected for its superlative coloration. The male parent is a seed-raised Nepenthes lowii. This specimen has travelled with world and been shown many times on exhibits such as the RHS Chelsea Flower show, Singapore and elsewhere!
This cross is expected to produce tough and long-lasting pitchers, probably with nectar exudate under the lids. It is extremely rare and a must have for the Nepenthes collector.
