Pinguicula grandiflora

Pinguicula grandiflora is one of the easiest and most beautiful of the temperate pings.  The large leaves are lime green, which contrast perfectly with the dark purple flowers, which can be up to 1.5 inches long!

Sun: Full to part sun outdoors
Water: Always sitting in at least two inches of distilled or purified water
Temperature: 10 degrees - 90 degrees
Dormancy: Will die down to a small, cone-shaped hibernacula in winter
