Each trap starts out light red and slowly deepens to a dark, deep red in the center like the famous “Eye of Sauron”. The plants grow many traps on tall petioles with long, white cilia and gently flared petioles. One of our absolute favorite flytraps of all time; “Eye of Sauron” draws you in with its deep coloration and large trap size! It also is slow to go dormant. These seeds are open pollinated.
