The Australian Pitcher Plant (Cephalotus) is one of the most desired carnivorous plants in cultivation. They are truly wonderful. It is a curious pitcher plant of compact growth with bristly, colorful traps that are seemingly yawning for a bite to eat. The plants grow naturally only in a narrow coastal strip in extreme southwestern Australia. It is the only species in it's entire family and despite its very strong resemblance to Nepenthes, they have no close relatives in the carnivorous plant complex.
For more information on how to grow these plants check out our Cephalotus growing tips.
We are currently working on production of these wonderful plants but we do not have any ready to ship at this time. If you would like to be added to our waiting list please email us. But, please be aware that we do not expect to have them available late spring or early summer.
