We are the largest carnivorous plant nursery in the United States and have been promoting conservation through cultivation for over 25 years!

Since 1989, we have grown and sold the widest variety of carnivorous plants in the United States. Venus flytraps, American pitcher plants, sundews, butterworts, bladderworts, tropical pitcher plants and others - all commercially cultivated for either the curious beginner or the discriminating collector who wants the highest quality plants.

Operated by Peter D'Amato, author of the award-winning book The Revised Savage Garden: Cultivating Carnivorous Plants, and Damon Collingsworth, California Carnivores houses the largest botanical collection of carnivorous plants in the world open to the public and sells plants on-site at our nursery and online.
