Get the same custom Nepenthes mix that we use in our nursery! A blend of New Zealand Sphagnum Moss, Fine Orchid Bark, Perlite and Pumice that comes in a one gallon bag. This is about a gallon of mix.
Instructions for Use: Soak the New Zealand sphagnum moss in distilled water for 10 minutes then mix together with the other ingredients until they are well incorporated. When potting up plants in this mix, fill the pot so that it won't settle too much, but do not over pack.

Ordered this along with a couple of nepenthes and was surprised by how much was actually included. I was able to pot both of the nepenthes that I ordered as well as two others that I already had. They are all doing great and growing really well! Just make sure you have something big enough to mix it in!

I love the pre-mixed potting media because I feel my carnivorous plants have a much better chance when the “experts” prepare the right mix.
