This a selected seed grown plant with long, thin petioles and orangey blushed traps. This cultivar is beautiful and we’ll be naming it and releasing it soon because it’s just too good!
These are open-pollinated, meaning the plants have been pollinated naturally, without our help, in our substantial botanical collection of select Venus flytrap cultivars. Venus flytraps are temperate plants and will have the best germination rate with a period of cold stratification. They can take many, many months to germinate. Sometimes, they will sprout within days, but taking a few months is more common. We’ve seen them take as long as a year!

This is the easiest and most prolific ping I have in my 60+ ping collection. It flowers often and seems to divide every time it sends up a new flower. I've also had well over 100% strike rate on leaf pullings - meaning one leaf will have 2 or more pups. The baby pings also grow quickly - I have some that are about the size of a quarter that I propagated just 3-4 months ago. It also doesn't take a lot of light to blush completely a rich pink.
I have always been obsessed with pitcher plants, and this little guy just arrived in perfect condition with no problems at all! Looking forward to see this plant thrive!
