Dionaea m. 'Long Red Fingers' Potted

$ 14.99

This strange little cultivar, Dionaea m. 'Long Red Fingers,' is a compact plant with thin petioles and small traps.  The dark red teeth cross, fuse, and stick straight up.  This gives the entire plant a spikey appearance when in active growth!

PLEASE NOTE ALL VENUS FLYTRAPS ARE DORMANT IN WINTER AND ARE VERY SMALL WHEN SHIPPED OCTOBER - FEBRUARY.  They will grow vigorously as photoperiods lengthen.

Care Instructions
Sun: Full sun outdoors
Water: Always sitting in at least two inches of distilled or purified water
Temperature: 20 degrees - 80 degrees, can even take temperatures from freezing to 100 degrees but only for short periods
Dormancy: All Venus flytraps require a winter dormancy starting in October and ending in February. Many of the traps will turn black and die back during this time. Leave them outdoors in full sun, sitting in distilled water during this period. If you live in an area that snows; over winter them indoors on a sunny windowsill in an unheated room or garage. Still sitting in full sun and distilled water.

(Damage box, but it is not the seller's fault) Amazing services! I'm delighted with how the plant was packaged because USPS loves to give inadequate services with the delivery and destroy the box it came from. I'm happy that the plant survived all of that, and it is so beautiful! Thank you once again for the fantastic services. I would love to be able to make a complaint to the USPS for this. They know it is a plant, so why they don't treat it more carefully?

The plant arrived perfectly healthy and well packaged. Not a single but of dirt had fallen from the pot. It arrived moist and small,only because it was still in dormancy. Not to mention the plant although small and young still looked beautiful and colorful. The wait was well worth it. I will definitely be shopping here more often.
