Nepenthes burkei (M-TC) Potted
Nepenthes burkei is an easy species is endemic to the island of Mindoro in the Philippines. There has been a great deal of confusion surrounding this species for a long time. There have been many N. ventricosa passed around as N. burkei. This is the true N. burkei, only recently brought into cultivation. It has pitchers similar to N. ventricosa, but they are taller, much more spotted, with a showy, scalloped peristome. A charming and easy species. Great for beginners!
