Nepenthes sanguinea Potted
Nepenthes sanguinea is a vigorous, fast growing Malaysian species. It has large, plump pitchers up to a foot tall with a big oval mouth and a large, upturned lid. This is a wonderful, easy species and a great beginner plant. These are a single clone from tissue culture.
Care Instructions
Sun: Grow on sunny windowsills with at least three hours of direct sun, in greenhouses, or in a terrarium with fluorescent light
Water: Water with distilled or purified water frequently, do not let the pots sit in water for long periods of time but be sure to keep the potting medium moist all the time
Temperature: Daytime temperatures in the 70’s-80’s with a 10-20 degree drop in night temps
Dormancy: none needed

I got this plant a little over a year ago. It was my first nepenthes so I definitely made a couple mistakes along the way but it went through it all like a champ. Definitely a great beginner plant and the one I have kept alive the longest! I have put a picture of when I got and pictures I took now.
