Nepenthes rajah x eymae Potted

We are really excited to be offering this cross!  Nepenthes rajah is considered the king of all Nepenthes and can take decades to reach maturity.  This hybrid was created in our own lab and is available exclusively from CalCarn.  As with all new hybrids it is hard to predict how they will mature but we expect these to have absolutely giant pitchers and spectacular coloration.  The peristome should be wide and striped and the upper pitchers are almost impossible to imagine but we can't wait to see what they will look like!

Care Instructions
Sun: Grow on sunny windowsills with at least three hours of direct sun, in greenhouses, or in a terrarium with fluorescent light
Water: Water with distilled or purified water frequently, do not let the pots sit in water for long periods of time but be sure to keep the potting medium moist all the time
Temperature: Daytime temperatures in the 70’s-80’s with a 10-20 degree drop in night temps
Dormancy: none needed
